TPI publishes new methodology to assess the Carbon Performance of big global food producers

The food sector being one of the biggest sources of greenhouse gas emissions, food producers are under increasing pressure to reduce their GHG emissions. Food companies have responded by setting emissions reduction targets. However, assessing whether these targets are consistent with international climate goals has not been possible up until now.
