This is the recording of the launch event hosted by the TPI Global Climate Transition Centre (TPI Centre) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) on Wednesday 17 September 2025 at 2.30-4.00pm UK time.

Susana Mourato, Vice President and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and David Russell, chair of Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI), kicked off the event.

The report, State of the Corporate Transition 2025, analyses the status, trends and patterns in the latest Carbon Performance and Management Quality results assessed by the TPI Centre. 

The report's highlights were presented by Professor Simon Dietz, Research Director, TPI Centre and Professor of Environmental Policy, Department of Geography, LSE. A panel discussion followed, addressing the implications of these results for investors, companies, data providers and policymakers, with a focus on the credibility of transition plans.
