Occasional Research Assistant (ORA) position
The TPI Global Climate Transition Centre (TPI Centre), based within the Global School of Sustainability at LSE, is looking for a part-time, hourly-paid, ORA starting towards the end of February until 31 March 2026 at 15 hours per week. The hourly rate is £23.73 per hour inclusive of holiday pay (Band 5 Spine 18).
The ORA will work at the TPI Centre, an independent, authoritative source of research and data on the progress of corporate and sovereign entities in transitioning to a low-carbon economy. The role will be based in outreach and communications, assisting the Strategic Outreach Manager.
The successful candidate will have:
- An interest in sustainability marketing/comms
- Studying a relevant degree
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage/organise own workload
- Experience working with applications, including website content management systems, social media and design, or a desire to learn
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Right to work in the UK and be based in the UK
Main responsibilities:
- Supporting with user testing for the website
- Contributing to content development for external communications
- Identifying opportunities for further outreach vehicles and channels
- Engaging with internal stakeholders to develop effective communications.
